JAMP Ferrous Fumarate Liquid 60 mg/mL (100 mL)

Description: JAMP Ferrous Fumarate Liquid 60 mg/mL delivers 60 mg ferrous fumarate, which is equivalent to 20 mg elemental iron, per mL. JAMP Ferrous Fumarate Liquid is an iron supplement that helps to form red blood cells and helps in their proper function, helps to prevent iron deficiency, and helps to prevent iron deficiency anemia. This syrup comes in a cherry flavour.

Dosage:

• Take with food. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Do not use except under care of a physician. Shake before use.
  
• Adults: Take 5 mL once daily or as directed by your physician.
• Children Aged 0-18 years of age. Take 2 mL per day or as directed by your physician.

Medicinal Ingredients (per teaspoon, or 5 mL):

• 20 mg Iron (60 mg of Ferrous Fumerate)
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Caramel
• Carrageenan
• Cherry Flavour
• Glycerin
• Methylparaben
• Propylparaben
• Purified Water
• Sodium Cyclamate
• Sorbitol
• Sucrose

Warnings:

• Keep out of reach of children. There is enough drug in this package to seriously harm a child.
  
• Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have peptic ulcer, regional enteritis, and ulcerative colitis.
• Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience symptoms of iron toxicity such as nausea, vomitting, abdominal pain, hematemesis (vomitting of blood), and diarrhea.
• Contraindications: Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Known adverse reactions: Some people may experience constipation, diarrhea, and/or vomitting. May cause abdominal cramping.
