Canesten 6 Day Vaginal Cream (50 grams)

Description: Canesten 6 Day Vaginal Cream helps to treat vaginal yeast infections at the site. It helps relieve symptoms of internal burning, itching, and discharge. This cream treatment contains a lower concentration of medication for treatment over 6 days.

Uses:

• For the treatment of vaginal yeast infections.
• Relieves itching, burning, and discharge associated with vaginal yeast infection.

Directions for Adults and Children Age 12+:

• After reading the enclosed instructions, insert one applicator full of cream high in the vagina at bedtime. Repeat daily for 6 consecutive days, even if symptoms disappear. Do not use more than directed
  
• To prevent re-infection, wear cotton underwear.

Medicinal Ingredients: Clotrimazole 1% w/w

Inactive Ingredients: benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, water

Warnings:

• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are at increased risk for sexually transmitted diseases, have multiple partners, or change partners often.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have diabetes.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have symptoms that recur within 2 months.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if have never had a yeast infection before.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, or are trying to get pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any of the following symptoms: abdominal, back, or should pain, fever or chills, nausea or vomiting, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
  
• When using this product, do not use tampons, intravaginal douches or other vaginal products.
• Canesten may reduce the effectiveness and safety of latex products and vaginal spermicides. This effect is temporary and occurs during treatment.
• Stop use and ask doctor if there is no improvement in 3 days or if symptoms have not disappeared within 7 days, you have abdominal pain, fever, foul-smelling discharge during use of this medication, or if skin rash or new irritation occurs.
• If swallowed, call a poison control centre or healthcare profession right away.
