Atlas Dexidin 2 Detergent (450 mL)

Description: Atlas Dexidin 2 Detergent Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2% w/v is a low sudsing antibacterial solution that can be used for skin cleansing, handwashing, and cleansing for acne prone skin.

Indication: Antibacterial detersive skin cleanser.

Directions:

• Antiseptic handwashing: Use this product when high aseptic conditions are noncritical. Wet hands. Apply approximately 5 mL of Dexidin 2 Detergen skin cleanser. Rub 1 minute. Rinse.
  
• Antiseptic Cleansing for Acne Prone Skin: Use following procedure once or twice daily. Wash your hands with a small amount of Dexidin 2 Detergent skin cleanser and water, rinse. Wet face. Work up suds using a small portion of Dexidin 2 Detergent skin cleanser in palm of hands. Rub gently into face. Rinse and repeat procedure and massage suds gently into face for 4 to 5 minutes, adding water as needed. Rinse well and pat dry.

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Purified water
• Isopropyl alcohol
• PEG-80 sorbitan laurate
• Copcamidopropylamine oxide
• Hydroxyethyl cellulose
• Glycerin
• Red FD&C #40
• Sodium hydroxide

Caution:

• Avoid contact with eyes. If any contact with eyes, rinse eyes immediately for a few minutes under free running water.
• In case of swallowing, drink milk or vegetable oil. Call a physician at once.
• If irritation develops or increases, discontinue use.
• Hypochlorite bleaching of garments that have been in contact with chlorhexidine may develop brown stains, replace bleaching agent by Sodium Perborate.
