Wampole Ferrous Gluconate 300mg (100 Tablets)

Description: Wampole’s Ferrous Gluconate helps prevent anemia caused by iron deficiency. Iron is an essential mineral, as it’s necessary to form red blood cells that ensure the transport of oxygen in the blood. Its use is recommended to prevent iron deficiency anemia, which can be caused by blood loss, malabsorption, or an increase in iron demand.

Adult Dosage and Directions:

• Take 1 tablet daily. Take with food a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule):

• 300 mg Ferrous Gluconate (equivalent to 35 mg of elemental iron)
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients: Brilliant blue aluminum lake, Crosscamellose sodium, Magnesium stearate, Microcrystalline cellulose, Polyethylene glycol, Polyvinyl alcohol, Silicon dioxide, Stearic acid, Talc, Tartrazine aluminium lake, Titanium dioxide.

Warnings and Cautions:

• Do not use except under the care of a physician. Do not use for prolonged time unless instructed by physician.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have peptic ulcer, regional enteritis and ulcerative colitis.
• Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience symptoms of iron toxicity such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hematemesis (vomiting blood) and diarrhea.
• Some people may experience constipation, diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
• Stop use if hypersensitivity occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children. There is enough iron in this package to seriously harm a child.
