Teva-Pheniram Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg (100 tablets)

Description: Teva-Pheniram is a generic brand of Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg, a first-generation antihistamine. It can be used to treat symptoms caused by allergies and hay fever, including itchy and watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and skin rash and irritations.

Use: Teva-Pheniram Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms.

Dosage/Directions for Adults and Children Age 12+:

• Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours.
• Do not take more than 6 tablets, or 24mg, in 24 hours.
  

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Alginic acid
• D&C Yellow #10
• Dibasic calcium phosphate
• FD&C Yellow #6
• Magnesium stearate
• Microcrystalline cellulose
• Starch
• Sweetened with sodium cyclamate

Precautions:

• This medicine can cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or activities requiring alertness when the medicine affects you this way. If drowsiness is bothersome, you can reduce the number of tablets you are taking.
• Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have a history of heart disease, stomach ulcer or blockage of the stomach or intestines, problems urinating, a seizure disorder, glaucoma, or lung disease.
• Do not take this medication if you are allergic to chlorpheniramine or if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
• Do not take this medicine for a prolonged period of time, unless advised to do so by doctor.
