Sudafed Extra Strength Head, Cold, & Sinus (12 Caplets)

Description: Sudafed Extra Strength Head, Cold, & Sinus is a non-drowsy formula for relief from sinus congestion, pain, and headaches. It features the active ingredients acetaminophen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.

Uses:

• For temporary relief of: sinus pain, sinus headache, fever, sinus congestion, sinus pressure due to common cold or flu.
  

Dosages for Adults and Children Age 12+:

• Take 1 caplet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 4 caplets in 24 hours.
• For children under 12 years of age: consult a doctor for directions.

Medicinal Ingredients (per caplet):

• Acetaminophen 500 mg
• Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients: 

• Celluloses
• Corn starch
• Magnesium stearate
• Sodium starch glycolate

Cautions and Warnings:

• Do not use with other products containing any salicylates or other cough/cold or pain/fever medications.
• Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough medicine to seriously harm a child.
• Do not take more than the recommended dose. Avoid alcohol. Overdose may cause nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness, or severe or possibly fatal liver damage.
• Consult a healthcare practitioner before use with other medications, including natural health products, prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs or if you have chronic alcoholism, serious kidney or liver disease, high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, glaucoma, diabetes, an enlarged prostate, or are elderly, pregnant, or breastfeeding. 
• Do not use if you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI. Use only on the advice of a doctor.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms last more than 5 days. If symptoms worsen, or are accompanied by a high fever (>38°C) or the production of thick yellow/green phlegm, talk to a doctor.
• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.  Discontinue use if allergic reactions such as wheezing, rash, or itching develop.
• In Case of Overdose: Contact a doctor or Poison Control Centre immediately, even if you do not notice any possible signs or symptoms such as increased sweating, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and loss of appetite.
