Rougier Pharma Povidone Iodine 7.5% (115 mL)

Description: Rougier Pharma Povidone Iodine 7.5% is an antiseptic and medicated cleanser for the skin. This solution helps to kill germs quickly to help prevent infections.

Indications: Pre and post-operative antisepsis. Disinfection of the skin, mucous membranes, wounds, burns, and lacerations.

Dosage:

• For operating personnel: Pour 5 mL on the hand and rub for about 5 minutes. Rinse 5 minutes under water.
  
• For the patient: Apply a sufficient amount to cover the affected areas. Massage for 5 minutes then rinse. Allow to dry before applying surgical drapes.
  

• 7.5% Povidone-iodine
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Polyethylene glycol
  
• Purified water
  
• Sodium lauryl ether sulfate
  
• Sodium tribasic phosphate and sorbitol solution
  

Caution:

• For external use only.
• If irritation develops or increases use of the product should be discontinued. If irritation persists for more than 5 days, consult a physician.
• Contents harmful. Fumes harmul. Do not swallow.
• Caution. Irritant. May irritates eyes. dangerous fumes form when mixed with other products. Incompatibilities with reducing and strong oxidizer agents. Do not get in eyes or clothing. Do not breathe fumes.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Use only in a well-ventilated area.
• First aid treatment: Contains Povidone-iodine 7.5 %. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or physician immediately. Do not induce vomiting. If eyes, rinse well with water. If on clothes. If breathed in, move person into the air.
