Rougier Pharma Citro-Mag Laxative Cherry Flavour (300mL)

Description: Rougier Pharma Citro-Mag Laxative can be used as a laxative or a purgative and preparation for radiography. This laxative comes in different flavours to suit your liking and is dye free.

Dosage/Directions for Use:

• Laxative for Adults: 0.25 to 0.5 bottle. Be sure to drink 250mL of water every hour, four to six hours before taking Citro-Mag and three hours after taking Citro-Mag.
• Purgative for Adults: 1 bottle. Be sure to drink 250mL of water every hour, four to six hours before taking Citro-Mag and three hours after taking Citro-Mag.

• 66.0 lbs - 150 mL
• 77.0 lbs - 200 mL

Ingredients (per 300 mL):

• Magnesium Citrate Anhydrous 15g
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Artificial and natural flavouring
• Purified water
• Sodium benzoate
• Sodium bicarbonate
• Sorbitol

Caution:

• Use only as directed.
• Do not use in the presence of undiagnosed abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting.
• Rectal bleeding or failure to respond may indicate a serious condition. Consult a physician.
• Persons on a low sodium diet or who have impaired renal function should avoid use of this product, unless directed by a physician. Use of the product may result in abdominal cramping or nausea.
• Repeated or prolonged use may result in habituation or dependence on laxatives for bodily function. Do not take any type of laxative for more than one week, unless advised by physician.
• A laxative should not be taken within 2 hours of another medicine, because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced.
• This preparation should only be used as a purgative upon recommendation of a physician, when preparing the patient for a medical procedure necessitating a clear colon.
