Rougier Pediatrix Acetaminophen 160 mg / 5 mL Cherry Flavour (100 mL)

Description: Rougier Pediatrix Acetaminophen 160 mg / 5 mL Cherry Flavour is formulated for children age 2 to 12 years. This oral solution was formulated to provide fast effective relief of pain and fever due to immunization, teething, or colds.

Directions:

• Administer single dose orally, according to age as listed below, ever 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed more than 5 doses daily. Use only the measuring device provided.
• Dosage:
• Age 2 and 3 Years Old: 5 mL (160 mg)
• Age 4 and 5 Years Old: 7.5 mL (240 mg)
• Age 6 and 8 Years Old: 10 mL (320 mg)
• Age 9 and 10 Years Old: 12.5 mL (400 mg)
• Age 11 and 12 Years Old: 15 mL (480 mg)

Active Ingredients (per 5 mL):

• Acetaminophen 160 mg/mL
  

Inactive Ingredients: artificial colour and flavourings, citric acid, fd&c ywllow #6, glycerin, methylparaben, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylparaben, purified water, sodium cyclamate, sodium phosphate dibasic, sorbitol

Warnings:

• Liver warning: Acetaminophen may cause severe or possibly fatal liver damage if your child takes more than the recommended dose in 24 hours or takes with other drugs containing acetaminophen. Symptoms of liver damage may include: yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, sweating, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, unusual tiredness, and/or loss of appetite.
• Allergy alert: Acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions. Symptoms may include: skin reddening, blisters, rash. If any of these symptoms occur, stop use and seek medical attention immediately.
• Do not use with any other drug containing acetaminophen or if your child is allergic to acetaminophen or any ingredient in this product.
• Ask doctor or pharmacist before use if your child has liver or kidney disease or takes the blood thinning drug warfarin.
• Stop use and ask doctor if pain lasts for more than 5 days, fever lasts for more than 3 days, or existing pain or fever worsens or if new symptoms appear.
