Robitussin Sugar Free Cough Control for People with Diabetes (115 mL)

Description: Robitussin Sugar Free Cough Control for People with Diabetes was specially formulated for those with diabetes. This formula works to relieve dry coughs and congestion and includes guaifenesin, which can help to loosen mucus and phlegm buildup. This liquid is low sodium, dye free, alcohol free, and comes in a berry flavour.

Directions:

• Adults and Children 12+: Take 1 tablespoon (15 mL). Take every 6 hours. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 doses (60 mL) in 24 hours.
• Children Under 12 Year: Do not use.

Active Ingredient (per 5 mL):

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DM) 10 mg
• Guaifenesin 100 mg

Warnings:

• Do not use with other cough and cold medication; a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI); a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or other drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease, or for 2 weeks after stopping this drugs. If you are not sure if your medication contains one of these drugs, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
  
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have/are: a persistent/chronic cough (as occurs with smoking); shortness of breath or chronic lung disease (e.g. asthma or emphysema); or pregnant or breastfeeding.
  
• Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or last for more than 7 days; a fever, rash, persistent headache is present; you cough up thick or green mucus.
  
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away.
