Robitussin Regular Strength Cough Control for 6 Hours Relief (100 mL)

Description: Robitussin Regular Strength Cough Control was formulated to help control dry coughs due to colds, relieve chest congestion, and soothe throats. This formula also includes guaifenesin, which can help to loosen mucus and phlegm buildup. This liquid comes in a cherry flavour.

Directions:

• Adults and Children 12+: Take 2 teaspoons (10 mL). Take every 6 hours. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 doses (60 mL) in 24 hours.
• Children Under 12 Year: Do not use.

Active Ingredient (per 5 mL):

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DM) 15 mg
• Guaifenesin 100 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Citric Acid
  
• FD&C Red No. 40
• FD&C Yellow No. 6
• Flavour
• Glycerin
• Invert sugar
• Sodium Benzoate
  
• Water

Warnings:

• Do not use with other cough and cold medication if you have an allergy to any of the listed ingredients.
  
• Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), or other drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotion conditions, or Parkinson's disease, or for 2 weeks after stopping these drugs.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have/are: a persistent/chronic cough (as occurs with smoking); a cough with excessive mucus; difficulty breathing; shortness of breath or chronic lung disease (e.g. asthma or emphysema); pregnant or breastfeeding; are taking medication for weight control; or have any other serious medical condition.
  
• Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or last for more than 7 days; a fever, rash, persistent headache is present; you cough up thick or green mucus.
  
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away.
