PharmaSystems Dual-Sided Lice Comb

Description: PharmaSystems Dual-Sided Lice Comb features short pins, which are for lice removal, allowing easy access to the root of the hair where lice and eggs are, and long pins, which are for nit removal, funneling through strands of hair and combing out many nits at once. The narrow teeth design completely removes head and pulic lice, including eggs. Its rounded edge teeth work gently on all hair types.

Instructions:

• Shampoo hair with recommended head lice shampoo from the pharmacy.
• Brush or comb hair with a disposable hair tool to remove any tangles.
• Separate small portions of hair into approximately 1 inch sections. Hold the section of hair in one hand and in the other, position the lice comb at a tilted angle and place the teeth of the comb facing the scalp.
• Place the lice comb close to the scalp since most nits are found near the scalp.
• Rake the comb slowly through the section of hair no less than three times to ensure all nits are removed.
• Inspect the section of hair to make sure it is free of lice and nits, and clip the hair up with bobby pins or a hairclip and place it out of the way.
• Wash the comb in a bowl of hot, soapy water and make sure it is free of lice and nits.
• Repeat this process until all sections of the hair have been combed.
