Pendopharm Diphenhydramine Extra Strength 50 mg (100 capsules)

Description: Pendopharm Diphenhydramine Extra Strength 50 mg capsules are formulated to provide fast, effective relief of allergy symptoms, including sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, itchy nose and throat, and hives.

Uses:

• Temporarily relieves symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergies: sneezing; runny nose; itchy, watery eyes; itchy nose and throat, hives.

Directions for Adults and Children 12 Years and Over:

• Take 1 capsule every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 4 capsules in 24 hours.
• Not recommended for children under 12.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• 50 mg Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride USP
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• FD&C Blue No. 1
• FD&C Red No. 3
• Gelatin
• Lactose anhydrous
• Magnesium stearate
• Pregelatinized starch

Warnings:

• Do not use with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have glaucoma, breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis or chronic asthma, difficulty with urination, a cough that is accompanied by excessive secretions; if you take sedatives or tranquilizers; or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• When using this product, drowsiness may occur; alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness; do not drive or engage in activities requiring alertness; avoid alcohol drinks; excitability may occur, especially in children.
• Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or last for more than 7 days.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
