Palafer Iron Therapy Ferrous Fumarate Suspension (Cherry Flavour) (100 mL)

Description: Palafer Iron Therapy Ferrous Fumarate Suspension delivers 300 mg ferrous fumarate, which is equivalent to 100 mg elemental iron per 5 mL or teaspoon, or 20 mg per mL. Palafer Iron Therapy Ferrous Fumarate Suspension is an iron supplement that is used for the prevention and in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia. This syrup comes in a cherry flavour.

Dosage:

• Children Aged 0 to 13 Years: Maximum 2 mL daily at bedtime or as directed by a physician.
  
• Adults Aged 14+: Take 5 mL per day or as directed by your physician.
• Take a few hours before or after taking other medications. Take with food.

Medicinal Ingredients (per teaspoon, or 5 mL):

• 300 mg Ferrous Fumarate USP (equivalent to 100 mg of elemental iron)

• Artificial Cherry Flavour
  
• Caramel
• Carrageenan
• Glycerin
  
• Methylparaben
  
• Propylparaben
• Purified Water
  
• Sorbitol Solution
  
• Sucrose

Warnings:

• Keep out of reach of children. There is enough drug in this package to seriously harm a child.
  
• Some people may experience constipation, diarrhea, and/or vomitting.
• There is a possibility that liquid dosage forms of iron may stain teeth. If staining occurs, remove by brushing with baking soda.
