Orajel 2x Medicated Gel for Canker Sores (9.5 grams)

Description: Orajel 2x Medicated Gel for Canker Sores provides instant pain relief for severe oral pain. It can be used to temporarily relieve pain caused by canker sores and minor irritations of the mouth. The formula features benzocaine, which helps relieve pain, and menthol, to soothe pain.

Use: Temporarily relieves pain caused by canker sores and minor irritations of the mouth and gums.

Directions for Adults and Children Age 12+: Dry affected area and apply with cotton swab or clean finger. Apply a pea-size amount to affected area up to 4 times daily OR as directed by health care practitioner. Allow gel to dry 30-60 seconds into protective film. Do not eat for 1 hour after use.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Benzocaine 15% w/w
  
• Menthol 2% w/w

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Acesulfame Potassium
• Aroma
• Ethyl Alcohol
• Ethylcellulose
• Polycarbophil
• Water

Warnings:

• Flammable. Keep away from fire or flame.
• Avoid smoking during application and until product has dried.
• Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a health care practitioner.
• Consult your healthcare practitioner if symptoms do not improve in 7 days, if irritation, pain, and redness persists or worsens, or if swelling, rash, or fever develops.
• Avoid contact with eyes. If happens, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not exceed recommended dosage. In case of accidental overdose or allergic reaction, contact a Poison Control Centre immediately.
