Mucinex Expectorant Tablets for Chest Congestion Guaifenesin 600mg (20 tablets)

Description: Mucinex Expectorant Tablets for Chest Congestion helps to relieve chest congestion due to common colds and helps loosen phlegm. These tablets contain 600 mg of guaifenesin and are formulated for immediate and extended release.

Uses:

• Helps relief of wet cough due to common colds
• Helps loosen phlegm and makes coughs more productive
• For relief of chest congestion due to common colds
• Helps thin mucus/bronchial secretion

Directions for Adults and Children Age 12+:

• 1 tablet every 12 hours. Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours.
  
• Take with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break tablet.

Active Ingredient:

• Guaifenesin 600 mg
  

Inactive Ingredients:

• Carbomer homopolymer type B
• FD&C Blue 1 aluminum lake
• Hypromellose
• Magnesium stearate
• Microcrystalline cellulose
• Sodium starch glycoate

Warnings:

• Allergy alert: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product. Stop use if allergic reactions develop.
• Dosage warning: Do not take more than the recommended dosage.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have persistent or chronic cough, difficulty breathing, asthma, or other chronic lung conditions OR if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
• Stop use and as your doctor if symptoms worsen, last for more than 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, persistent headache, or the production of thick yellow/green phlegm.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
