Lipactin Gel for Cold Sores (3 grams)

Description: Lipactin Gel for Cold Sores and Fever Blisters alleviates symptoms associated with cold sores and fever blisters (pain, itching, burning and tingling). Lipactin Gel speeds the healing process and shortens the duration of cold sores and fever blisters.

Directions for Adults and Children (12 years of age and over): For maximum effectiveness when tingling sensation begins, apply Lipactin Gel to the affected area 3-6 times daily, every 4-8 hours until healing is complete or for a maximum of 14 days, whichever comes first. Before using the product, read the package insert. Avoid contact with eyes.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Heparin Sodium(Porcine) 160 USP units
• Zinc Sulfate 5 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Carboxymethylcellulose
• Glycerin
• Methylparaben
• Polysorbate
• Propylparaben, water.

Caution:

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• If condition persists after 2 weeks, consult a physician.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Not recommended for use on children, pregnant or nursing women unless on advice of a physician.
  
• If symptoms persist or become severe, or if hypersensitivity or adverse reaction to the product occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.
• Mild burning sensation may be experienced for a short while after application of the gel.
