Teva Koffex Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Syrup (250 mL)

Description: Koffex Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Syrup helps relieve dry cough due to colds.

Directions:

• Adults and Teens Aged 12+: Take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 6 to 8 hours. The maximum recommended dose is 4 times a day. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Active Ingredient (per 5 mL):

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DM) 15 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients (alphabetical order):

• Artificial colouring and flavouring
  
• Citric acid
  
• Potassium sorbate
  
• Propylene glycol
  
• Purified water
  
• Sodium benzoate
  
• Sucrose
  

Warnings:

• Do not exceed recommended dosage. Prolonged usage should be only on the advice and direction of a physician.
• Consult a physician before administering to asthmatic patients, or if you have chronic lung disease/shortness of breath, persistent/chronic cough, or are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking a drug for depression, including monoamine oxidase inhibitor drugs.
• If symptoms worsen, last for more than one week, or are accompanied by a fever or excessive secretions, consult a physician.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away.
