Description: JAMP Ferrous Sulfate Iron Supplement for Children 0 to 24 Months 75 mg/mL delivers 75 mg ferrous sulfate, which is equivalent to 15 mg elemental iron, per  mL. JAMP Ferrous Sulfate Iron Supplement for Children 0 to 24 Months is used for the prevention of iron deficiency anemia. This syrup comes in a natural strawberry flavour,

Dosage:

• Children Aged 0-24 Months: Take 1 mL once or twice daily. Administer with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.
  

Medicinal Ingredients (1 mL):

• 75 mg of Ferrous Sulfate (equivalent to 15 mg of elemental iron
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Citric Acid
  
• Natural Stawberry Flavor
  
• Potassium Sorbate
  
• Purified Water
• Sodium Benzoate
• Sodium bisulfite
  
• Sucralose

Known Adverse Reactions:

• Hypersensitivity has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
• Some people may experience constipation, diarrhea and/or vomiting.

Contraindications:

• Do not use except under the care of a physician. Do not use for prolonged time, unless instructed by physician.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a peptic ulcer, regional enteritis and ulcerative colitis.
• Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience symptoms of iron toxicity, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hematemesis (vomiting of blood), and diarrhea.
• Taking a daily prenatal multivitamin mineral supplement along with this product may result in constipation, diarrhea, and/or vomiting due to the high intake of iron.

Warnings:

• Keep out of reach of children. There is enough drug in this package to seriously harm a child.
