Description: JAMP Emolax Laxative Powder is a laxative that helps to soften stools and gently relieves occasional constipation. Emolax is a tasteless, grit-free, sugar-free powder that can be mixed into your beverages. It helps by drawing water into stools to soften and increasing the frequency of bowel movements. 

Uses: Relief of occasional constipation.

Dosage for Adults Over 18 Years Old: Mix 17 grams into a cup of water, juice, soda, coffee, or tea until completely dissolved, then drink. Do not take more than 17 grams per day. Do not use more than 7 days. Do not take in undiluted form.

• Do not use if you have a known or suspected bowel obstruction, have kidney disease, unless directed by a doctor; are allergic to polyethylene glycol; are under 18 years of age unless recommended by a doctor.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, any medical conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding or thinking about becoming pregnant.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking starch-based food thickeners for a swallowing problem. EMOLAX may reduce the thickening effect of these products, which increases the risk of choking.
• When using this product, frequent or prolonged use may result in dependence on laxatives; nausea, abdominal bloating, cramping or flatulence, diarrhea and excessive stool frequency might occur -- if severe, stop use and contact a doctor; it may take up to 2 to 4 days for you to have a bowel movement; do not take within 2 hours of another medicine as the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced.
• Stop use and ask a doctor if you develop allergic reactions; you are elderly and have diarrhea.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
