JAMP Acetylsalicylic Acid 81mg Delayed Release Tablets (300 tablets)

Description: This product is a generic brand of Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA) 81mg Delayed Release Tablets. JAMP ASA 81mg is recommended by doctors for supervised long-term preventative therapy in adults. These ASA 81mg are specially coated to help prevent stomach upset.

Directions for Adults Aged 18+:

• For doctor-supervised long-term preventive therapy: 1-4 tablets as directed by physician. Swallow whole. Do not crush or break tablets unless you think you are having a heart attack.
• During a heart attack: Call 911, then crush or chew 2 tablets. Inform emergency services or the hospital that you have taken an Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA) tablet.

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Colloidal silica
• Corn starch
• FC&C Blue #1
• Hypromellose
• Methacrylic acid copolymer
• Microcrystalline cellulose
• Purified water
• Sodium bicarbonate
• Sodium lauryl sulfate
• Talc
• Titanium dioxide
• Triacetin
• Triethyl citrate

Warnings:

• Do not take if you are allergic to ASA, salicylates, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), pain relievers, or fever reducers, or ingredients of this product.
• Do not take if you have an ulcer, history or ulcers, or are prone to bleeding.
• Do not take if you have active or severe liver or kidney disease or congestive heart failure.
• Do not take if you have a history of asthma caused by salicylates or other NSAIDs.
• Do not take if you are using methotrexate at doses of 15mg/week or more.
• Do not use if you are in the last trimester of pregnancy. Consult a doctor before use when pregnant or nursing.
• If taking this product for preventative therapy, do not use ibuprofen without talking to a doctor or phamacist. Use only if you have previously seen a doctor about your condition, otherwise consult a doctor.
