Gaviscon Regular Strength Fruit Blend Flavour (40 Chewable Foamtabs)

Description: Gaviscon Regular Strength Chewable Foamtabs is an antacid that helps to relieve symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux. It quickly neutralizes stomach acid and helps keep acid down for hours.

Directions:

• Directions for Adults 12+: Chew 2-5 tablets up to 20 tablets daily.
  
• Directions for Children 6-11: Chew 2 tablets, up to 8 tablets daily.
• Doses should be separated by 2 hours. Take after meals and/or at bedtime, when symptoms occur or as directed by a doctor. Do not swallow whole.
  

Medicinal Ingredients (per tablet):

• Alginic Acid 200 mg
• Magnesium Carbonate 40 mg
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Calcium stearate
• Fruit flavour
• Sodium bicarbonate
• Sugar

Caution:

• Relief of heartburn/acid reflux symptoms should occur within 5-10 minutes of taking the product.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks, recur, worsen, or if heartburn symptoms occur more than once per week in a child, or if heartburn/acid reflux is accompanied by painful wallowing, weight loss, vomiting of blood or recurrent vomiting.
• Except under your doctor's advice, if pregnant or on a low salt diet, do not exceed 5 tablets daily, do not take if you suffer from kidney disease or within 2 hours of another medicine, because effectiveness may be altered.
• Keep out of reach of children.
