ex-lax Extra Strength Gentle Overnight Laxative (24 pills)

Description: ex-lax Extra Strength Gentle Overnight Laxative pills are natural senna pills that were formulated to provide gentle overnight relief of occasional constipation.

Directions for Adults: Take 1 or 2 pills once or twice daily with a glass of water, preferably at bedtime.

Medicinal Ingredient:

• Sennosides USP 25 mg
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients: acacia, calcium carbonate, carnauba wax, corn starch, dibasic calcium phosphate, FD&C Blue #1 aluminum lake, iron oxides, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, methylparaben, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, propylene glycol, propylparaben, shellac, silicon dioxide, sodium benzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide.

Cautions:

• As with all laxatives, do not take daily for more than 1 week without consulting your physician, as overuse or extended use may cause dependence for bowel function.
  
• Do not use in the presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever, or vomiting.
  
• Do not use this product if you have abdominal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease, such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhea.
  
• Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  
• Do not exceed recommended dosage.
  
• Do not take within 2 hours of other medicines because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced.
  
• Stop use if hypersensitivity occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
• Consult a physician if: symptoms persist or worsen, if you have kidney disorder or fecal impaction, you are taking cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications, thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
• Reduce dose or stop use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms, and/or diarrhea.
