Ene-med Enema (130 mL)

Description: Ene-med Enema is easy to use and acts within minutes to provide relief of constipation and stimulates natural processes.

Purpose: For relief of occasional constipation and bowel cleansing before rectal examinations.

Directions and Dosage: For rectal use only. Please refer to package label for illustrations on how to administer.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 118 mL):

• Monobasic Sodium Phosphate 19 g
• Dibasic Sodium Phosphate 7 g
  
• Sodium content 4.4g

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Benzalkonium chloride
• Disodium EDTA
• Water

Warning:

• Do not use laxative products when nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain is present, unless directed by a physician.
• If you notice a sudden change in bowel habits that persist over a period of 2 weeks, consult a physicina before using a laxative.
• Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of laxative may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult a physician.
• Laxative products should not be used longer than one week unless directed by a physician.
• Do not use this if you are on a low salt diet or if you have kidney disease, unless directed by a physician.
• If after the enema solution is administered, there is not return of liquid, contact a physician immediately as dehydration may occur.
• As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
• Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children.
• In case of accidental ingestion or overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Centre immediately.
