Dulcolax for Women 5 mg Tablets (50 tablets)

Description: Dulcolax for Women is a stimulant laxative suitable for the relief of occasional constipation. Bisacodyl, the active ingredient, helps to stimulate bowel muscles and hydrate by accumulating water in the intestine to soften stool which helps you go. By stimulating bowel movements, Dulcolax for Women facilitates the evacuation of the stool to provide the gentle relief you're looking for.

Uses:

• Relief of occasional constipation
  

Directions:

• Adults: Take 1 to 2 tablets at bedtime for bowel movement the next morning
• Children Age 6-12: Take 1 tablet at bedtime for bowel movement the next morning

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Bisacodyl 5 mg
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients: acacia, ammonium hydroxide, carnauba wax, corn starch, D&C Red #27 aluminum lake, FD&C Blue #2 aluminum lake, FD&C Yellow #6 aluminum lake, iron oxide black, glycerin, glyceryl monostearate, lactose, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer, methylparaben, modified starch, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate, povidone, propylene glycol, propylparaben, shellac, sodium benzoate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, white wax.

Caution:

• Do not use in the presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever, vomiting or within 2 hours of another medicine.
• Do not use if you have intestinal obstruction, acute inflammatory bowel disease, appendicitis, or severe dehydration.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, taking adreno-corticosteroids, cardiac glycosides, diuretics or proton pump inhibitors. Contains tartrazine (colouring agent).
• Do not exceed recommended daily dose or use for more than a week unless directed by your doctor.
