Cortate Hydrocortisone Cream USP 0.5% (15 grams)

Description: Cortate Hydrocortisone Cream USP 0.5% is an anti-itch/anti-inflammatory ointment that can be used for the temporary relief of minor skin irritations, itching, and redness due to seborrhoeic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, contact dermatitis. Do not use for the treatment of diaper rash, except on the advice of a doctor.

Dosage: Apply small amount to the affected area not more than 3 or 4 times daily. Use for 7 days maximum.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• 5 mg (0.5%) Hydrocortisone USP
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Ceteth-20
• Cetostearyl Alcohol
  
• Chlorocresol
• Mineral Oil
  
• Petrolatum
• Phosphoric Acid
• Propylene Glycol
• Purified Water
• Sodium Hydroxide
• Sodium Phostphate Monobasic Monohydrate

Warning:

• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not apply to large areas of the body.
• Do not use to treat vulvar itching associated with vaginal discharge.
• Use for 7 days maximum. If symptoms persist beyond 7 days, if conditions worsen, or if symptoms return after discontinuing use, consult your physician.
• Do not use on children 2 years of age or younger, unless directed by a physician.
