Colace Docusate Sodium Stool Softener Drops (10 mg / mL) (30 mL)

Directions: Colace Stool Softener drops is a stimulant-free solution that offers a gentle and comfortable approach to provide effective relief. It typically promotes bowel movements within a timeframe of one to three days. The stool softener works by gently softening the stool, making it more manageable to pass and alleviating discomfort associated with constipation symptoms.

Directions:

• Adults and Children Age 12+: Take 10 to 20 mL one to two times per day with a half glass of milk or fruit juice. Dosage should not exceed 48 mL in 24 hours.
• Children Age 6-11: Take 5 mL one to two times a day with half glass of milk or fruit juice. Dosage should not exceed 15 mL in 24 hours.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Docusate Sodium 10 mg / mL

Non-medicinal Ingredients: Citric Acid, Methylparaben, Peg-400, Poloxamer 188, Propylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Red 33, Sodium Citrate, Vanillin, Water.

Warnings:

• Do not use: if you have abdominal pain, nausea, fever, or vomiting; with other medicines or if you are presently taking mineral oil; if you are on a low salt diet; for longer than 7 days (as frequent or prolonged use may result in dependence on laxatives); if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare professional prior to using.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that has lasted longer than 2 weeks or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• When using this product, frequent or prolonged use may result in dependence on laxatives; may take up to 3 days for you to have a bowel movement.
• Stop use and ask a doctor if rectal bleeding occurs, symptoms persist, or last for more than 7 days.
