Chloraseptic Methol/Benzocaine Oral Anesthetic Lozenges Cherry Flavour (15 lozenges)

Description: Chloraseptic Methol/Benzocaine Oral Anesthetic Lozenges help to provide temporary relief of pain of sore throat and cools nasal passages. These lozenges are fast acting and come in cherry flavour with a soothing liquid centre.

Uses: For the temporary relief of pain of sore throat, coughs.

Directions for Adults and Children Age 6+:

• Use 1 lozenge every 2 hours as needed or as directed by a health care professional. 

Medicinal Ingredients (per lozenge):

• 6 mg Benzocaine
  
• 10 mg Menthol
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Corn Syrup
  
• FD&C Red No. 40
  
• Flavour
• Glycerin
• Propylene Glycol
• Lecithin
• Sucrose
• Water

Warnings:

• Allergy Alert: Do not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics, such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine, or other "caine" anesthetics.
  
• Sore Throat Warning: Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Consult a doctor promptly.
  
• If symptoms are severe or persist for more than 2 days, consult a doctor.
  
• If cough worsens, persists for more than 7 days, or is accompanied by a high fever, consult a doctor.
  
• When using this product, do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Stop use and ask a doctor if: irritation, pain, or redness persists or worsens, swelling, rash, or fever develops.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health care practitioner before use.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose or accidental poisoning, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.
