Cerave Acne Foaming Cleanser (150 mL)

Description: CeraVe Acne Foaming Cleanser contains 4% benzoyl peroxide to help treat acne, clear pimples and prevent new breakouts. The formula includes three essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to help maintain the skin’s moisture barrier. It is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic.

Directions:

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. New users: apply to a small area once daily for three days to test sensitivity. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer to the entire affected area and gently massage. Rinse off.
• Start once daily and gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce to once daily or every other day.

Medicinal ingredient: Benzoyl peroxide 4% w/w 

Non-medicinal ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Propanediol, Diethylhexyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate, Carbomer, Benzoic Acid, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycolic Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Ceramide NP, Phenoxyethanol, Ceramide AP, Phytosphingosine, Cholesterol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Ceramide EOP.

Warnings:

• For external use only. Get medical help right away if you develop hives, swelling of the eyes or mouth, blistering or difficulty breathing.
• Do not use on sensitive skin or if allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have severe acne.
• Using another topical acne treatment at the same time may increase irritation and dryness. If irritation occurs, use only one product at a time.
• Avoid eyes, lips, mouth and nostrils; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs. Avoid hair and dyed fabrics, which may be bleached.
• Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use sunscreen. Stop use and ask a doctor if severe irritation, burning or itching develops, or if there is no improvement within 6–8 weeks.
• Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
