Canesten External Vaginal Antifungal Cream (Clotrimazole 1%) (15 grams)

Description: Canesten External Antifungal Cream helps to relieve external symptoms of vaginal yeast infection, including burning, itching, and discomfort.

Directions for Adults and Children Age 12+:

• For external vaginal use only. To use the cream, squeeze a small amount onto your finger and gently and thinly spread over the irritated vaginal area. Use the cream once or twice daily as needed. This cream should be used until the symptoms of the infection disappear.
  

Active Ingredients:

• Clotrimazole 1% cream w/w
  

Inactive Ingredients: benzyl alcohol, cetastearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, water

Warnings:

• Should not be used for vulvar itching due to causes other than a yeast infection.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are at increased risk for sexually transmitted diseases, have multiple partners, or change partners often.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have diabetes.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have symptoms that recur within 2 months.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before us if have never had a yeast infection before.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, or are trying to get pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any of the following symptoms: abdominal, back, or should pain, fever or chills, nausea or vomiting, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
  
• When using this product, do not use tampons, intravaginal douches or other vaginal products.
• Canesten may reduce the effectiveness and safety of latex products and vaginal spermicides. This effect is temporary and occurs during treatment.
• Stop use and ask doctor if there is no improvement in 3 days or if symptoms have not disappeared within 7 days, you have abdominal pain, fever, foul-smelling discharge during use of this medication, or if skin rash or new irritation occurs.
• If swallowed, call a poison control centre or healthcare profession right away.
