Canesten 3 Day Combi-Pak Treatment (ComforTab + External Cream)
Description: Canesten 3 Day Combi-Pak with ComforTab helps to treat vaginal yeast infections. It helps relieve symptoms of internal burning, itching, and discharge. This is a 3 Day cream treatment with 3 clotrimazole vaginal tablets and 10 grams of external cream.
Uses:
- For the treatment of vaginal yeast infections.
- Relieves itching, burning, and discharge associated with vaginal yeast infection.
Directions for Adults and Children Age 12+:
- After reading the enclosed instructions, use the applicator to place one vaginal tablet high in the vagina at bedtime. Repeat daily for 3 consecutive days, even if symptoms disappear.
- To use the cream, squeeze a small amount onto your finger and gently spread over the irritated vaginal area. Use the cream once or twice daily as needed for up to 7 consecutive days to relieve external vaginal itching.
- To prevent re-infection, wear cotton underwear.
Active Ingredients:
- Clotrimazole 200 mg/vaginal tablet
- Clotrimazole 1% cream w/w
Inactive Ingredients:
- Vaginal tablet: calcium lactate, colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactic acid, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch
- Cream: benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, water
Warnings:
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are at increased risk for sexually transmitted diseases, have multiple partners, or change partners often.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have diabetes.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have symptoms that recur within 2 months.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before us if have never had a yeast infection before.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, or are trying to get pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any of the following symptoms: abdominal, back, or should pain, fever or chills, nausea or vomiting, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
- When using this product, do not use tampons, intravaginal douches or other vaginal products.
- Canesten may reduce the effectiveness and safety of latex products and vaginal spermicides. This effect is temporary and occurs during treatment.
- Stop use and ask doctor if there is no improvement in 3 days or if symptoms have not disappeared within 7 days, you have abdominal pain, fever, foul-smelling discharge during use of this medication, or if skin rash or new irritation occurs.
- If swallowed, call a poison control centre or healthcare profession right away.
