Buckley's Expectorant for Cough, Mucous & Phlegm (150 mL)

Description:  Buckley's Expectorant for Cough, Mucous & Phlegm is a sucrose-free syrup taken for effective relief of cold and flu symptoms, including mucus and phlegn. Though effective, like Buckley's Original Mixture, this expectorant has a distinct taste, so if preferred, mix with equal parts honey.

Indications:

• Fast relief for up to six hours from cold and flu symptoms (i.e. coughs, nasal and sinus congestion, and chest congestion).
  
• Works in your lungs to loosen and thin out mucus and phlegm, and has an expectorant to clear it from your chest.

Directions for Adults and Children 12+:

• Take 2-3 teaspoons (10 to 15 mL) every 6 hours. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 doses (60 mL) in 24 hours.

Active Ingredient (per 5 mL):

• Guaifenesin 100 mg
• Menthol 10 mg
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Acesulfame K
• Ammonium carbonate
• Camphor
• Canada balsam
• Carrageenan
• Glycerin
• Pin needle oil
• Propylene glycol
• Propylparaben
• Tincture of capsicum
• Water

Warnings:

• Ask a doctor before use if you have persistent or chronic cough, difficulty breathing, asthma or other chronic lung conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking any other cough and cold medication.
• Stop use and ask doctor if symptoms worsen or last for more than 7 days, or are accompanied by a high fever (over 38 degrees Celcius), the production of thick yellow/green phlegm, rash, or persistent headache.
• In the case of accidental overdose, contact a doctor or Poison Control Centre immediately, even if there are no symptoms.
