Description: Betadine 10% Solution is an antiseptic product containing the active ingredient povidone-iodine. This solution helps to kill germs quickly to help prevent infections.
Uses:
- For the preparation of skin prior to surgery and injections.
- For treatment of woulds, lacerations, burns, bacterial and mycotic infections of the skin.
Directions:
- For preoperative use: Clean the affected area, then paint with solution and allow to dry
- For wounds, burns, skin lesions: Apply directly to affect area once or twice daily, other otherwise recommended by healthcare practitioner.
Active Ingredients:
- 10% Povidone-iodine
Non-medicinal Ingredients:
- Citric acid
- Disodium hydrogen phosphate
- Glycerine
- Pareth 25-9
- Sodium hydroxide
- Water
