Atlas Milk of Magnesia Laxative (500mL)

Description: Atlas Milk of Magnesia Laxative can be used as an antacid or laxative for the relief of upset stomach and for gentle relief from occasional constipation.

Dosage:

• For Adult, Antacid Use: 5-20 mL with a little water.
  
• For Adult, Laxative Use: 30-60 mL with a glass of water.
  
• For Children, Antacid Use: 1-10 mL with a little water.
  
• For Children 6-12 Years, Laxative Use: 15-30 mL with a glass of water.
  
• For Children  Under 6 Years, Laxative Use: Consult a physician.
  

Medicinal Ingredients (per mL):

• Magnesium hydroxide USP 400 mg / 5 mL
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Purified Water
  

Cautions:

• Persons suffering from kidney disease or on tetracycline should consult their physician before using this product or any product containing Magnesium Hydroxide.
  
• Do not use in presence of fever, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain.
• Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine, since the desired effect of that medicine may be reduced.
• Overuse or extended use may cause dependence for bowel function. Do not take for more than 2 weeks, unless directed by a physician.
• If symptoms persist for more than 1 week, consult a physician.
