Alka-Seltzer Extra Strength Antacid Effervescent Tablets (24 tablets)

Description: Alka-Seltzer Extra Strength Antacid Effervescent Tablets is formulated to provide fast relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, upset stomach, and sour stomach. This antacid features the active ingredients sodium bicarbonate and citric acid.

Uses: Antacid: For the relief of heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, sour stomach associated with excess stomach acid, hyperacidity, and acid indigestion. Neutralizes excess stomach acid.

Directions:

• Dissolve in one full glass of water. Take 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed or as directed by a doctor. Use the smallest effective dose.
  
• For adults age 18 to 59 years: Do not take more than a total of 8 tablets per day.
  
• For adults age 60 years and older: Do not take more than 4 tablets per day.
  

• Sodium Bicarbonate 1976 mg
• Citric Acid 1000 mg

Warnings:

• Do not take for more than 2 weeks, or if symptoms recur, unless directed by a doctor.
  
• Do not use if you are on a low salt diet or are pregnant.
  
• Consult a doctor before use if you are presently taking a prescription drug, have high blood pressure, have kidney disease or heart disease, or are breastfeeding.
  
• Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine because the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered.
  
• Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
  
• When using this product do not exceed the recommended dosage. This product provides 586 mg of sodium per tablet.
  
• Keep out of reach of children.
