Abreva Cold Sore Treatment Pump Cream (2g)

Description: Abreva Cold Sore Treatment Cream has been clinically proven to reduce the duration of pain, burning, itching, and tingling associated with cold sores. Abreva cream, which contains the medicinal ingredient docosanol, works by penetrating the skin to block the entry of the cold sore virus into surrounding cells and to provide a barrier to protect healthy cells.

Directions for Adults and Children Aged 12+: Wash hands before and after application. Rub in cream gently but completely to affected area of face or lips 5 times daily until sore is healed, up to a maximum of 10 days. Best results are obtained if treatment starts at first signs of a cold. For external use only. Do not use in children under the age of 12, unless advised by physician.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Docosanol 10%

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• (alpha) benzyl alcohol
• light mineral oil
• propylene glycol
• sucrose distearate
• sucrose stearate
• water

Warnings:

• Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• If excessive skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• Do not use if allergic to docosanol or other ingredients in this product.
• Do not share your Abreva cream with others, as cold sores are contagious.
• Keep out of reach of children.
