Atlas Almagel Plus Antacid Suspension Mint Flavour (350 mL)

Description: Atlas Almagel Plus Antacid is formulated with alumina, magnesia, and simethicone to provide prompt relief of indigestion and heartburn. This antacid comes in a pleasant mint flavour and is sucrose free and low sodium. 

Uses: Antacid and anti-gas for prompt relief of indigestion and heartburn associated with gastric hyperacidity and excess of gas.

Directions for Adults: Shake well before use. Take 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls 3 to 4 times a day, preferable 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician. Do not take more than 16 teaspoons.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 5 mL):

• Magnesium Hydroxide USP 200 mg
• Dried Aluminum Hydroxide Gel USP 200 mg
• Simethicone USP 25 mg
  

Inactive Ingredients:

• Methylparaben
• Peppermint Oil
• Propylparaben
• Purified Water
• Sodium Cyclamate
• Sorbitol

Warnings:

• Do not use for more than 2 weeks or if symptoms reoccur, unless directed by a physician.
• Do not use within 2 hours of another medication, because the effect of the other medication may be reduced/altered.
• Do not use in conjunction with a tetracycline type of antibiotic.
  
• Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have kidney disease.
  
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
